An enjoyable visit to Cafe Bella Luna

February 12th, 2009 by John Dilbeck

I had a very enjoyable visit to Cafe Bella Luna yesterday afternoon.

I’ve been wanting to drop in and meet the proprietor, Sharon Powell, for some time and finally got around to it.

Front entrance to Cafe Bella Luna, within walking distance of downtown Murphy, NC.

Located inside the charming Enchantment Inn, Cafe Bella Luna offers fine coffees, teas, delicious desserts, and other treats. You’ll find a selection of fine art for sale, created by local artists. There are four spacious guest rooms, and massage therapy and other services are available by request.

In addition to live music on the weekends, Sharon is planning to offer additional activities and classes in the near future.

This coffee house and bed and breakfast is located at 215 Peachtree Street, within easy walking distance of downtown Murphy, NC. For more information call 828-837-1515 or visit their website at CafeBellaLuna.net.

Sharon and I visited for a couple of hours and I met a couple of other interesting people while I was there.

I enjoyed talking to Jimmy Murphy, a local artist who has several paintings for sale in the cafe.

It was a pleasure to meet Samantha Carder, who is an independent consultant for The Pampered Chef. She was telling me how much she enjoys helping local residents put together parties that feature the quality cooking products offered by the company. If you would like more information, you can contact her at 828-837-5744.
